One of the most popular and versatile fairground organ scales is the 87 key Gavioli scale - which was expanded into the later 89 and 98 key scales. Its wide countermelody range, separate piccolo section, and 8 bass notes allow for wonderful musical arrangements of a wide range of music. Many other organ manufacturers used these scales such as Marenghi, Gaudin, Chiappa, and Carl Frei.
